Morning vs. Evening Cardio: Which is More Effective for Fat Burning?

Cardio is one of the most popular exercises for getting fit. Whether you're looking to lose fat, lose weight, or just tone your body, cardio is an excellent way to get healthier.

Now, when we talk about cardio, I always get asked what the best time to do it is to achieve the maximum benefit. Many people ask this because they want to accelerate their goals as much as possible and are wondering whether they should do cardio before eating, right after a workout, during a fast, first thing in the morning, in the evening, and so on to reach their desired goals.

Today, we're going to clarify once and for all when the best time to do cardio is so you can reap as many rewards as possible.

What time should you do cardio to get the best result?

In my opinion as a coach, it doesn't really matter when you do cardio. Many people feel they need to do it during a fast or before eating, but truthfully, the difference is minimal. As long as cardio gets done, that's the most important thing.

That means it doesn't matter if you've fasted, whether it's before breakfast or after dinner; as long as you do it, you'll get the benefit. And if you don't, then you won't see any benefit. Simple, right?

So, make it fit into your schedule in a way that works for you and maintain consistency, and you'll be good to go.

Conclusion

Overall, there isn't one magical time of the day when you'll reap more benefits from cardio than another. The important thing is to have a plan and commit to it, just as you would with any other workout. You have the flexibility to fit it into your schedule when it works best for you. And if you stay consistent, you'll reap all the benefits of it in no time.
